Speedpay caught up with auto finance industry professionals at this year’s conference in Las Vegas. Here’s what we learned.
Late last month, the Speedpay team headed to Las Vegas to attend the auto finance industry’s premier event, Auto Finance Summit (AFS). This year’s agenda was packed with networking sessions, thought leader panels, and cocktail receptions, and we couldn’t have left with better insight into what’s top-of-mind for leaders in the industry.
Here’s what everyone was talking about:
Consumer Experience – The consumer experience is a hot topic right now, especially among finance brands in the payments and servicing space. Payments providers at AFS were busy touting solutions that make billers’ end customers happy and help strengthen their relationships.
End-to-End Solutions – There’s been a trend toward believing that billers want their vendors to manage everything for them. Therefore, payments providers are becoming more and more “end-to-end” in the solutions they provide, and marketers have not missed a beat in communicating this to their audience.
Cash Payments – We saw that cash payments are getting some interesting new features. Providers are now making it easier for customers to use cash to make electronic payments, something that can make payments easier for unbanked and underbanked consumers.
The Speedpay team also found time to have some fun in between and after sessions. In case you missed it, Speedpay entertained exhibit hall passersby with a custom NASCAR arcade game in a nod to the conference’s auto finance focus. The team also invited Speedpay clients and friends to a private event – Speedpay on the Speedway – at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where guests hit the track in exotic race cars and experienced a drift ride with a professional stunt driver.
